Yes, I thought I'd go back to Walk Away The Pounds yesterday just to mix things up, and I was off to attend a wedding so I did it in the morning. I'm not a morning person at all, so it wasn't easy to get myself going. I told myself I had to do at least two miles, but hoped for three. Well after the third mile I wanted to keep going ... so I did! I was rather pleased to get through mile four so when mile five started I thought ... why not? I'm up for it. So I did all five. As good as I felt about completing all five miles, I thought 'boy am I gonna feel it tomorrow.'
Well I've just awakened and while I can definitely feel that I've worked out, I feel great! Maybe throwing a little Turbo Jam into the mix was a good idea. I was worried it was too much too soon, but it looks like it was a good idea after all.i haven't weighed in yet this morning so I'll check back in soon, but after attending a wedding last night with some very lovely food served, I may not get good results ... we'll see.
The nephew is doing well on his own, learning to take care of himself, budget his money, and he's already started a new job. It's part time, but he's hopeful he'll soon get extra work so he can find an apartment of his own. I'm relieved he's doing we'll and that's helped my stress levels enormously. Things are going well right now ... life is good! :)
